Skjerven Group and Part-B Immobilien Welcome Michael Stich to “Little Wimbledon” Tournament
On 14 June, the tenth edition of the “Little Wimbledon” lawn tennis tournament organized by Tennis Club TC 1899 Blau-Weiss Berlin is set to take a star turn. Skjerven Group and its subsidiary Part-B Immobilien are delighted to announce that Wimbledon champion and former world-class player Michael Stich, who won a total of 18 singles and ten doubles titles during his active career, has agreed to take part in this year’s anniversary event: a unique opportunity for the tennis stars of tomorrow to play warm-up matches against the former World No. 2, who will also present the winners’ trophies at the prize-giving ceremony.
The club organizes the tournament as an opportunity for its younger members to compete against each other and show off their skills. For the next generation of tennis players and their parents, “Little Wimbledon” has long been a fixture in their diaries. “We are delighted to be able to contribute to the club’s efforts at developing their young players by supporting this event,” said Einar Skjerven, CEO of Skjerven Group. “Thanks to Michael Stich, ‘Little Wimbledon’ will be sprinkled with some of the stardust of the most famous tennis tournament in the world.”
